Project for an Italian School in Tokyo - Information session at the Italian Embassy

Società Dante Aligheri Tokyo and New International School of Ikebukuro have started a feasibility study for the creation of the first Italian school in Tokyo. The project includes, in a first stage (hopefully in September 2015), the opening of an Italian section within the New International School for children of age group 3-5 years, followed by a second phase, hopefully in April 2016, with the first two years of primary school for pupils in the age group of 6-8 years.
The lessons, which will be in Japanese, Italian, and English, will be open to students of all nationalities.
The project was recently presented to the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Following this, the Executive Board of the Chamber have expressed great interest in following further developments of the initiative.
Consequently, an information session has been planned at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo. The initiative is open to Italian citizens as well as citizens of other nationalities interested in the project. The expected date (to be confirmed) for the meeting is April 13.
For those who are interested in this project, we would appreciate if you could write to the following addresses:
by Monday, April 6. In the email, please include your name and nationality. A confirmation of participation will be sent in response, together with communication of the exact venue, day and time of the event.
Further information can be found in the attached notice and in the occasion of the meeting.
