Beginner Italian A(a) [October – December 2026]
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), in cooperation with the Linguaviva Italian Language School — also an ICCJ member — is holding an Italian language course based on the teaching method used by the school.
This is a beginner-level course that offers a well-balanced introduction to the fundamentals of grammar and conversation, helping participants acquire expressions they can use in a variety of everyday situations and while travelling. It is recommended for those who want to improve while having fun, those who wish to speak more in Italian, and those looking to expand their vocabulary and strengthen their listening and conversation skills.
◇ The course is intended for beginners who already have some prior study experience (*see level below).

Level: Beginner (for those studying Italian for the first time or wishing to start again from the beginning)
Content:
- Grammar: alphabet, nouns, adjectives, prepositions, definite and indefinite articles, essere and avere, present tense of regular verbs, etc.
- Conversation: introducing yourself, greetings, simple questions and answers, expressions of thanks, etc.

- General: ¥32,000 (excl. tax)
- ICCJ members and *Linguaviva students: ¥29,000 (excl. tax)
*”Linguaviva students” refers to those enrolled in the regular courses of the Linguaviva Italian Language School’s April 2026 term.

Qui Italia 1 – Mazzetti/Falcinelli/Servadio – list price ¥6,720 (excl. tax)
*Course participants receive a 10% discount off the list price. Discounted price: ¥6,048 (excl. tax).
*The textbook price may be revised in accordance with exchange rate fluctuations.
*Depending on when you register, delivery of the textbook may take some time. In such cases, and only for those affected, photocopies may be distributed until the book arrives.
Registration deadline: Monday, 5 October 2026, 12:00 noon
Capacity: 12 participants (minimum required to run the course: 5)

How to register:
- Please register via the registration form.
- Please pay the tuition fee by credit card.
- Registration will be considered complete upon receipt of both the registration form and the tuition fee.
- Once the course is confirmed to run, we will send details about its start before the first lesson.
- If the minimum number of participants is not reached by the registration deadline, the course will not be held. In that case, the amount paid will be refunded; however, bank fees will be deducted from the refund.
