Seminar Overview
In the rapidly evolving landscape of global fashion, the ability to innovate is essential. Founded in 1935 in Milan, the fashion capital of the world, Istituto Marangoni Milano has stood for nearly a century at the crossroads of creativity, craftsmanship and cultural influence.
This seminar introduces the school’s Innovation Culture, which places technology at the core of its curriculum, experiential learning and research. Through concrete examples, including the AI Manifesto (which positions AI as a partner that augments human creativity), the 3D garment visualization platform Clo3D (in part in collaboration with The Fabricant), ideation with generative AI tools such as Krea and MidJourney, algorithmically designed soundscapes for fashion shows, and the research project and 2025 fashion show Algorealismo, we will explore the future of fashion education and creative practice in the age of technology.
