Elementary Italian E [November 2026 – March 2027]
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), in collaboration with Linguaviva Italian School, also an ICCJ member, is pleased to offer an Italian language course based on the teaching method used at the school.
This elementary-level course takes a balanced approach to the basics of grammar and conversation. Participants learn expressions they can use in many everyday situations and when travelling. It suits anyone who wants to improve while having fun, speak more Italian, build their vocabulary, or strengthen their listening and speaking skills.
◇ The course is for elementary-level learners who have already studied Italian (*see level below).

Level: Elementary (for those who have studied the passato prossimo, imperfetto, future tense, combined pronouns, conditional, relative pronouns, passato remoto, etc.)
*Approximate prior study: about 195 hours
Course content:
Grammar: irregular nouns, tenses for telling stories and describing past events, the subjunctive (present and past), etc.
Conversation: everyday life, familiar topics such as travel and hobbies, asking questions, expressing opinions, polite expressions, etc.
This is a small-group course, taught with care by Linguaviva’s language instructors. In a friendly atmosphere, participants learn the fundamentals of Italian while having fun and improving their conversation skills.
