On the occasion of the “Italian Cuisine Week in the World” and on the 120th anniversary of the Pizza Margherita the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ) organises the Instagram contest “Margherita”.

One of the most beloved dish of Italian cuisine Pizza Margerita! The name comes from Margherita di Savoia, Queen of Italy, in whose honour in 1898 a Neapolitan pizza maker created a dish “which represented the Italian flag: the green of the basil, the white of the mozzarella cheese and the red of the tomatoes”.

Share your photos of a nice Pizza Margherita with us! The best picture will be rewarded with a supply of Italian beer.

Photos to be submitted from 01/10/2018 to 18/11/2018

Participation:

  1. Install the Instagram App on your device
  2. Follow the ICCJ official account @iccjtokyo
  3. Share your PIZZA MARGHERITA photo!
  4. Use the hashtag #pizza1120 in the description of your post

[Rules]

Participants must be residing in Japan (the registering address must be Japanese)

Participants with a private Instagram profile and/or who did not use the correct hashtag will be automatically disqualified from the contest.

Sharing the same post more than once will bring to automatic disqualification.

Photographs in violation of copyright laws, contrary to common morality or detrimental to the privacy of third parties are not admitted to the contest.

The organising committee retains the right to not publish or to delete every post which does not adhere to the main theme of the contest.

Prize: 2 cases of Italian beer.

The best picture will be selected amongst those presented within the deadline.

The winner will be notified via Instagram. Please, make sure to follow our official Instagram page @iccjtokyo

After receiving the winning notification, you will be asked to contact the organising committee with relevant information (contact, address, etc.)

In case of no response from the winner for over a week from the announcement the winner will be automatically disqualified from the contest.
