An extraordinary event featuring Italian wine will take place in Tokyo, Japan on November 24, 2015.
The event will be held in the elegant Happo-en, from 11:00 to 17:00. Japanese wine-sector operators will have the unique opportunity of tasting exquisite wines from top-class wineries selected by Slow Food editor, together with a refined selection of the best of Piedmont wineries presented by the consortium I Vini del Piemonte.
Organised in collaboration with Ideazione srl, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and the Italian Trade Promotion Office (ICE) of Tokyo, the event will consist of a “Walk Around Tasting” experience.
Two technical seminars will also be held during the event. Led by Mr. Isao Miyajima, journalist and considered one of Japan’s foremost wine experts, the seminars will cover the following topics:
13:00 – 14:00 Seminar: Italian wines “The infinite possibilities of Italian wine”
15:00 – 16:00 Seminar: Piedmont wines “Great reds of Piedmont: the richness of its various expressions”
