Week of Italian Cuisine in the World 2026: 11th Edition
In 2026, the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World returns for its 11th edition.
Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the initiative was launched in 2016 to carry forward the themes of Expo Milano 2015, and each year celebrates the excellence of Italy’s food and wine supply chain and its presence on international markets.
The 2026 edition has a special significance: it is the first since Italian Cuisine was recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The chosen theme is “Italian Cuisine as UNESCO Heritage: Territories and Excellent Supply Chains,” dedicated to celebrating local products and the traditions of Italy’s regions.
As every year, we are happy to contribute to promoting the initiative in Japan, with events and digital content dedicated to the cuisine we all love.
