Influenced by Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday, and Milva, she participated in the 2017 Sanremo Festival with “Le Canzoni Fanno Male” and was nominated for a David di Donatello Award for the soundtrack of Paolo Genovese’s film “The Place” (for which she also won a Silver Ribbon). Marianne has collaborated with important artists and was chosen by Patti Smith as the opening act for her Italian concerts.
