The NIC Award – Awards Ceremony
The NIC Award is a competition organized by ICCJ with the aim of introducing new Italian designers to Japan.
The competition is divided into two main categories:
NEW, subdivided into Apparel and Accessories sections, for designers whose brand has been in business for at least two years;
UPCOMING, a single category encompassing both apparel and accessories, dedicated to recent graduates and fashion school students.
Each participant’s portfolio will be evaluated by a jury composed of high-profile professionals from the Japanese fashion scene.
The awards ceremony for the third edition of The NIC Award will be held on Friday, November 13. The winners of each category will take part in the event and their creations will be presented to the Japanese media through a fashion show.
