Educational tour Pavia
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia organizes an educational tour of the city of Pavia, in the south-west of Lombardia Region, for journalists specialized in food or tourism.
During the tour, there will be also the opportunity to visit the beauties of Pavia’s province: the Oltrepo’ famous for its wines and Vigevano, the centre of the footwear industry.
Program:
06/07 (Friday) Arrival in Italy
Arrival at Malpensa Airport in the evening, transfer to Pavia and check-in in the hotel, dinner.
06/08 (Saturday) Pavia and Pavese
Morning: Po’ river cruise
Afternoon: Pavia Ancient Town tour
06/09 (Sunday) Oltrepo’ Pavese
Morning: quad bike visit to the hills
Afternoon: visit of Varzi, Butrio and Eremo di Sant’Alberto
Evening: dinner in a typical farmhouse (agriturismo) and visit to the astronomical observatory “Ca’ Del Monte”
06/10 (Monday) Vigevano and La Lomellina
Morning: Agriculture Museum in Olevano
Afternoon: Vigevano and event #Belturismo
06/11 (Tuesday) Departure from Italy
Hotel Check-out and transfer to Malpensa Airport in the morning
To participants, round trip flights to Italy, hotel stay (4 nights) and transfer from/to airport in Italy will be offered.
