An exclusive masterclass presenting the Ercole Olivario, the most prestigious e.v.o. competition in Italy, initiated by the chamber system with the main operators in the olive sector. Since 1993, Ercole Olivario has been rewarding the value of Italian olive oil of excellence, with the aim of enhancing a product that plays a very important economic and cultural role in Italian agricultural production.
The event will include a tasting of the winning oils from the 30th edition of the Ercole Olivario award, under the conduction of Michiyo Yamada, journalist and certified e.v.o. oil taster, this year’s recipient of the Leikithos award, reserved for “ambassadors” of quality Italian oil and oil culture abroad.

The masterclass is part of True Italian Taste, an initiative promoted and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as part of the government campaign “The Extraordinary Italian Taste”, coordinated by Assocamerestero, the association that brings together the 81 Italian Chambers of Commerce in the world.
