The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ) organizes B2B meetings with the producers from the Italian Friulan winery “STURM”.
Three generations ago, in 1850, Sturm family starts wine production in the flourishing village of Zegla, DOC Collio.
“Sturm” means “storm”, and their mission is to produce wines as free as a storm. This is communicated also by the label of the BIO line they wish to present to Japanese importers: a kid doodle of a storm, as free as the nature of DOC Collio territories.
The quality wood of the barrels does not alter the must. After vinification, the result is a wine where the taste of the fruit is clear. Moreover, sulphites are at the very least, as the filtration and only natural yeast are used.
In the vineyard there are beehives, to testify to the high quality of the territory.
