ICCJ has selected two wine importers to take part in a BtoB mission, scheduled on October 7-11, 2015 in Trieste, Italy.
“Trieste Prosecco” is a project organised by Aries Trieste, part of the Trieste Chamber of Commerce, aimed to promote Trieste’s Prosecco.
Prosecco is an Italian white sparkling wine, generally a dry or extra dry wine. It is made from Glera grapes, formerly known also as Prosecco, but other grape varieties such as Bianchetta Trevigiana may be included. The name is derived from that of the Italian village of Prosecco near Trieste, where the grape may have originated. DOC Prosecco is produced in the regions of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, traditionally mainly around Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the hills north of Treviso.
The chosen importers will be offered (one person per company):
a round trip ticket from Japan-Italy
hotel accommodation
transportation facilities from/to the event venues
interpreting service for non English-speaking persons (limited)
The mission will include business meetings with wineries and relevant companies involved in the project.
*Open to participants relevant to the products involved in the mission.
*(Please note that as the deadline for applying has already passed, we are no longer recruiting importers for this mission. Thank you for your understanding.)
