ROBOTS: SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY
A perspective on robotic solutions for preventive maintenance of infrastructures

The field of robotics is undergoing a revolution in terms of technologies and applications: the possibilities are endless yet most of the cutting-edge technology remains confined to the academic field.
The biggest challenge of today's robotics is operating in extremely hazardous and complex environments that require a wide range of different characteristics: autonomy, high mobility, robustness, modularity…
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan is pleased to invite you to a high-tech seminar that will feature Michele Guarnieri, CEO of HiBot, speaking about how robots can improve security checks and maintenance of infrastructures of powerlines, oil and gas plants, nuclear plants and enhance the “search and rescue” operations in any natural or environmental disaster situation.

HiBot Corporation since its establishment has been committing for the development of practical robotic solutions for extreme environments.

HiBot was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer 2015 and will receive the Edison award in New York City for the development of THES, a robot for small diameter pipe inspections.

Making use of several videos, Guarnieri will introduce a few HiBot business cases such as Expliner: the robot for very high voltage powerline inspections, THES and ACM-R5H: snake-like robot series for pipe inspections and many others.
