JOOP is back! The 10th edition of the Japan Olive Oil Prize will be held in Tokyo on May 13th, 2022.
JOOP provides producers from all over the world with a unique opportunity to increase their brand awareness in the Japanese market, also thanks to the exposure winners get from the 50+ promotional activities our Committee organizes every year.
We understand that shipping to Japan is expensive! To facilitate your participation, we only require 2 bottles of your EVOO: one for the contest, one for promotional activities!
The JOOP jury is composed of internationally recognized top-notch professionals from five countries. Panel Leaders: Konstantinos Liris (Greece), Michiyo Yamada (Japan), and Antonio Giuseppe Lauro (Italy) Other Jurors: Angeles Calvo Fandos (Spain), Birsen Can Pehlivan (Turkey), Hiromi Nakamura (Japan), Mariko Shimada (Japan) and Aida Lazzez (Tunisia), Carola Dummer Medina (Chile).
The award ceremony will take place on April 8th, 2022, in Tokyo in front of the press, experts, and institutional representatives. The complete winners’ list will be published on the official website and Facebook page on May 16, 2022, at 7 pm (Japan time).
