This April, the Japan Olive Oil Prize 2026 brought together 691 brands from 28 countries, with a panel of world-renowned judges selecting the very best.
JOOP OPEN DAY is our annual event showcasing the GOLD-and-above winners to Japanese importers and distributors. This year, we head to Osaka. In a relaxed walk-around format, you can freely sample an exceptional range of extra virgin olive oils from Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Croatia, France, Tunisia, Turkey, the United States, and beyond. Many have never been available in Japan before.
It’s a rare chance to taste some of the finest olive oils in the world. We hope you won’t miss it.

The Japan Olive Oil Prize (JOOP) is Japan’s leading international extra virgin olive oil competition, organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ) since 2013. Judging the world’s finest oils by rigorous standards, it works to educate consumers and grow the market.
